    Don't know if you are female or male so here are some ideas: Lawn Care (start your own business after you save up some money to purchase a mower etc.) Babysitting Pet sitting/walking Houseclean for a neighbor Fast Food Grocery Store (usually in small neighborhoods) *Call the Workforce center in your area and ask them also. I started a job when I was about that age through the Job Training Center and it was in clothing retail on the beach.

I'm 16 and I couldn't get a job until I got my National Insurance Number which you usually get sometime near your 16 birthday. Before you get that you can only get small jobs like paper rounds.

Grocery stores and fast food restaurants are your best bet. (I know 15 is minimum age for mcdonalds) at grocery stores you would work as a cashier or stocker, you learn a lot of handy skills for future jobs. at fast food places you would work as a cashier or in the kitchen. also teaches you handy skills for future jobs like working under pressure, dealing with customers,working as a team. You could also get a job as a dishwasher in a real eat-in restaurant. depending the place most you need to be 16 or18 to cook or waitress, dishwashing could still bea good job as its less stressful but you still learn how to do things to restaurant standards and it probably pays slightly more than a grocery store/ fast food job.

It depends on your skills! Some stores hire people under 18 as clerks, you could also work at your local Dairy Queen, car wash, you could go to the town library and be an assistant for the librarian... Delivering newspapers? Or, if you are serious about finding a little work, visit each of your local shops and ask the Manger if they have any work you can do. That's how I got my first Saturday and holiday job in Brixton market. Good luck!
