Is it possible to make life-size mannequins using paper mache?

How to make a volcano using paper mache? and fitting a one leter bottle in the middle?

• me and my friend have to make a volcano for a school project; dont know how to start? we need a hole big enough to fit a one leter bottle inside for the explosion thing, were using paper mache and card for a base, simple ideas please?

• Answer:

  Get a bottle, Pva glue, Cardboard square x2 red and brown paint and newspaper Put the bottle on a square of cardboard get the other piece and wrap it around the bottle making a cone shape. Then get pva glue and water to make a sort of paste then rip newspaper up in to little strips and put the strips one by one into the glue then on the bottle and cardboard when its covers leave to dry then do another coat leave to dry and paint.
