Secret life of bees thesis statement help?

• im doing a power point presentation on the Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, and we need to clearly state our thesis on one slide in a a brief sentence. It needs to look like this: "In the novel Secret Life of Bees Sue Monk Kidd suggests that ________________________." im not sure what a good thesis would be and ive had a hard time trying to look up a clear statement for the thesis. it needs to be straight forward and direct, i need to be able to back it up and show evidence of how kidd portrays the thesis in her story. i wanted to do it along the lines of the "Coming of age story" from how Lilly matures and gains more confidence and the aspects of how the sisters and her father/mother have helped her along or broke her down. This is just one idea for a thesis but i dont know how to get it into a clear statement. if anyone has any ideas for a thesis for me that would be greatly appreciated, it doesn't have to be the one I stated, I am open to any suggestions! thank you
