What fish could go in a 29 gallon?

  • I was thinking about getting a 29 gallon fish tank for my bedroom. What are some fish that I could buy for it? And I don't want tons of little fish. But maybe two or three bigger ones. I don't think of fish tanks as decoration. I want a pet. I had a black moor goldfish and she would eat out of my hand! So what are a few friendly fish that could go in a 29 gallon?

    i depends what you interested in. if you want a tropical display i would probally get a red tail shark. they grow a nice size of about 8 inches which would be fine in a tank like that. there a little aggresive so your going to want some hiding spots so it has something to claim. if your not into them maybe you can get about 3 medium cichlids. there aggressive but they have awesome coulors, your going to want some hiding spots too if you get them... but it seems your really into goldfish, orandas are cool ryunkin are one of my favourites they get really fat, and im pretty sure you could be able to hand feed them too. anyways hope this helps :)

One fish that is totally awesome is the Dojo Weather Loach. You need at least two of them and you could definitely keep them in that size of tank. (You could probably do three). They are awesome fish who will also eat out of your hand and do the cutest things in the tank. But, research them first as they love a specific substrate (sand) and like to have a lot of hiding places to feel secure.
