Computer screen turning black?

My computer screen turns black after turning on and takes 10 minutes to load?

  • my computer takes ten minutes to turn on and when i do there is a black screen with a cursor and my computer wont let me download things and itunes dosnt work and couple of other things, it also wont install games on it please help ;0

    Sounds like it could be a virus attack, If you have access to a separate computer and a flash drive, do the following: Get on the spare computer plug in the flash drive Go to these sites and download the following: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ , http://www.superantispyware.com/ , http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html. (they are all free) Download or move the software to the flash drive remove the flash drive and head to the problem computer start up problem computer in safe mode, (keep ramming F11 when the computer starts until an alternate menu pops up) Plug in flash drive run all of the anti-virus software on the flash drive, perform full scans (but not all at once!!! one at a time) that should take care of your problem if it is a virus, if problem persists it probably has something to do with your RAM or your video card.
