Where can you work as a Web Developer / Web Designer?

Need software developer and web designer?

  • I have had an idea about starting a website for starting a new type of gaming tournaments for strategic games. It can be good enough to make a decent income for the people involved but as usual I need to invest in the thing, which I cant do. I can buy domain and that sort of stuff but in addition I will need a 1. Web developer with knowledge of JAVA based sites 2. Software designer (developer) where software should be able to connect different PC's for gaming I don't know how to get such people, as I cant promise to pay them anything in the beginning, but I can provide them some percentage of overall income for what they'll do for me. I know its stupid, but is there any way I can find such people, who can work under such circumstances and be innovative enough for anything new. TIA

    You can't expect other people to take equal share of risk. So as mentioned you need to start developing a tiimeline of development A full plan of how it works, integration etc. If your a programmer make sure you have the game ready. If your doing only the "suggesting" and no work besides telling people what to do. Expect no one to come aboard without money. Go to a bank take a loan for at least enough for basic development. Then pay back the bank from your income you make. If you take the risk you will get the rewards. Don't expect to make anything with no risk. Otherwise find an investor, but people won't invest without some development.

"I cant promise to pay them anything in the beginning" This statement alone will scare off 99% of the programmers you talk to. The best way to avoid that is by drawing up a solid business plan that outlines what you want the company to do, then go apply for a line of credit to draw from to pay people a basic salary so you can actually function like a company.

There are hundreds of people with ideas like that. If you can't spend much money you'll probably have to just start learning programming, maybe get some friends to learn programming. An experienced programmer won't take that kind of risk.
