Mustang guys: How much horsepower can I expect to make?

• I'm Building a race motor for my car. I'm wanting to know how much power I should reasonably expect. Here are the specs. Ford Racing 331 short block (.030 over with 3.250 forged crank) AFR 165cc SBF Renegade 20° Street Head (http://www.airflowresearch.com/index.php?cPath=21_23) Edelbrock performer 2 intake, gasket matched. 75mm Holley throttle body with spacer, 76 mm BBK MAF sensor, 24lb injectors, bbk fuel rails, bbk Fuel pressure regulator, msd distributor with ford style ignition module, msd coil and wires, E303 Cam, 1.6 jesel roller rockers, Melling high volume oil pump. bbk shorty headers, 2.5" true dual exhaust with crossover tube, magnaflow cats, flowmaster 40 mufflers, AC delete, Air pump delete, EGR delete, powermaster racing alternator, underdrive pulleys. thats all I can think of. How much power could I expect to make? Carcraft.com used these heads to make 400 HP with a standard 302 and stock roller cam! With the modifications i've made, what should i reasonably expect? Also, are there any changes you guys would make? Any suggestions on parts to add or to consider? Horsepower question is most important. Engine is being installed at the moment!

  If you have not thought about power band and the sort of driving you'll be doing you may make big hp but bog down on gear changes. Tuning is a really complex issue. You can throw together a bunch of expensive parts and end up with a car that is horrible to drive on the road. I think you'll find out but you may need some tweaking if this is a road car. Anyone tuning this up would not use a stock cam if they want a lot if power. The good thing is that using a standard cam may kelp the ultimate power down and give you a power band you can live with. Many of the parts you've fitted make little difference to power output and are there for high output acing engine run flat out for shortish periods. Did you talk to anyone before you bought all this stuff?
