Claiming a parcel in the Philippine Post Office?
-
I am gonna claim my parcel in the post office because i ordered things online but the name i used to order those things was my nickname. Is it okay if i bring a valid ID which does not match my nickname?

Answer:
what you need is a postal ID and have it edited in your nickname, you need to specify your nickname in it for future reference. Once that postal ID is made, all your online transactions should include your nickname for you to be able to claim it. bringing a valid ID wont do any good

The Post Office will release the parcel to the addressee. If you have been so silly as to have it addresses c/o- a Post Office in any name but your properly identifiable one then you are very immature. You can take as many ID's as you like with you but the fact of the matter is if your name is--for example purposes, Mary Jane Santiago and the ID's are all in that name but the parcel is addressed to JINKY, then the staff at the PO have no authority to release it to anyone but--Jinky. Unless you get all sorts of notarised lawyers documents and affadavits and legal statements to the effect you and --Jinky are one and the same you know, I know and so does every Filipino know you wont get far. No Filipino sends away for stuff and uses a nick name knowing they have to ID themselves for the pick up. You are either very young and stupid or this is yet another troll idiot question wasting every ones time. No Filipino with ANY common sense would do it.

Yes Im sure the Post Office won't mind you using an ID with a different name, but they will hand you a different parcel also. Hope that its OK with you. Lets drink to that. Cheers.
