How do I knock down a brick wall?

Back yard BRICK wall! What color should we paint our old red brick wall?

  • We have an older two story house with a cute pool in the back yard. But the red brick wall makes the back yard look so ugly. My husband and I want to paint wall but we are not sure what color. My back yard is about 4000 square feet with brick wall ALL around the back yard. The entire back yard is cement and on small side with trees. But we want to liven it up. Any ideas????

    BEHR 1-Gallon Flat Latex White Interior/Exterior Masonry, Stucco and Brick Paint Home Depot or your local paint store can mix any color you like Earthtones give you a custom fresh look or another option would be to skim coat the surface with stucco and would require a primer coat for the stucco to stick. I wouldn't paint it at all. I'd get an assortment of climbing plants and plant those all along the base of the wall. Ivies and Morning Glories grow up pretty quickly and are far more attractive than painted brick.
