How to update Garmin Nuvi 200?

How can I update my garmin nuvi 465t for free?

• I have seen videos and I have checked out links I have found that give me directions on how to update my gps unit for free. I have tried many different things to update my gps but it wont work. I currently have the 2011 map on my garmin 465t. I have tried to get the 2012 and even the 2013 maps to work, but it wont for whatever reason. Ive deleted files that I know for a fact I dont need so that I can free up space, so I know thats not why its not working. I have tried 2 different sd cards. Even the 2gb one that is supposed to work does not work. When I put the map I downloaded onto the 2gb card, I try inserting the card into the side of my garmin. Nothing happens. My garmin 465t is not reading the card. What am I doing wrong here? I then try putting it directly on the my 465t, but it doesnt look like the map loads onto it. So I delete the new updated map I need from my 465t and put the old map back on and it works fine. And yes, I made sure the maps I downloaded were unlocked. Any help would be greatly appreciated

  Have you called Garmin's support line or emailed them? http://www.garmin.com/us/support Assuming that you are getting the update from a legal site, they will help you.
