I want to learn how to play the guitar?

• I am 13, and I want to know how to play the guitar. I know absolutely nothing about guitars even the chords, nothing just nothing I know about them :). Reason why I want to learn is because I want to and I want to know how to play an instrument. I find a guitar interesting. Also I used to play the guitar when I was 7 I played white stripes- seven nation army without knowing anything about the chords or anything I still know how to play it but I know nothing about guitars :l.

  Hey, I went through the exact same thing when I began learning guitar. This website: http://www.guitarplayerworld.com/ Is pretty good if you can find your way around it. Go to the beginner section. There's a lot of pop up offers on there, though, so be careful. If you want to learn to play any specific chord, just google 'play g chord' for example. To learn to play specific songs, go to youtube where they have lots of tutorials. Learn the strings- EADGBE- and the notes for each string on each fret. Here's a good lesson thingy: http://guitar.about.com/library/weekly/aa071200a.htm So...yeah. Have fun, look at those, and don't give up. Hopefully you actually have a guitar already. :D
