Getting a junior license- NY?

Information on getting a dealer license and plate in NY? Only answer if you really know or have them please.?

Hey guys I wanted to know how I could get a used dealer license and plates in NY? What are the requirements? how much do I have to pay up front to get it? I want to especially know what's the annual fee for dealer plates/license and is it worth it. Please guys if you don't know from experience don't give me links and talk without knowing, I want first hand experience. Thanks.

Usually the biggest impediment is garage liability insurance. Probably $800-1200 a year depending on exactly how populated your county is. You also need a car lot in a location zoned for business, a dealer bond & so forth if you want to be able to sell to anyone besides dealers or at auctions. A wholesaler doesn't need a car lot but cant sell to the public. The plates themselves are not very expensive but they do limit them . My state gives the dealership 2 plus one more for every full time salesman.
