Why do people hate all the time on the internet?

• I know a lot of people often take advantage on the internet because they're anonymous. But they post comments about how much they hate everything in life on places like Facebook, YouTube, Y!A, and IMDB. I mean they say the worst things imaginable and things people wouldn't dream of saying to anyone in real life and it often goes too far. Like for example, if someone hears about a person dying a tragic death they might post something on the internet saying they deserve to die and they didn't even know them. I think somebody should do something about this.

  People probably post these kinds of things because they are desperate for attention, maybe they don't get enough attention and like receiving it through the internet, people also say these types of things because its easier to say it on the internet with out that sense of awkwardness that you could get in real life. If it doesn't go to well for that person posting these things, they can easily delete it and forget about it.
