Where would I have to go to obtain a basic food hygiene certificate?

What kind of career field or job(s) I can get with the following skills?

  • I am 27 years old living in Evans, Ga I haven't held a paid job in almost over a year and a half. However in that time, I have been able to obtain a Servsafe Certification, The People's Principal (customer service certification program through Vocational Rehabilitation), a Certificate in Typing from the Typing Institute of America, and a Lay Speaker's Certificate from my Church. Also in the past year and a half that I have been volunteering, has mainly been at local Animal Shelters socializing with cats and dogs, as well as washing their food bowls, litter boxes. Also from my previous martial arts training, I have became a lot more disciplined, motivated and eager to learn new things. My average typing speed is 65 wpm at 99% to 100% accuracy. Also I have a G.E.D that I had to obtain back in 2010 because in the state of Ga if a person graduated with a special education diploma from high school, they aren't considered a graduate (so that is why I had to go back and obtain my GED)

  • Answer:

I would start with the animal shelter, since they already know you. Ask them if there are any opportunities to have a paid job there.
