Advice on new ice skates?

Which Ice skate is better?

• I have been ice skating for 2 and a half years in Risport antea 2, I have completed NISA Skate UK Star gold, for both dance and free. Yesterday my friend was showing me her ice skates that were new but 2nd hand to her. She her self only goes skating for fun and skates only skates round the rink. So it doesn't matter to her how strong her skates are. She said I could have her new / 2nd hand skates if they're better than the ones I already have. The model that she has are Risport laser, I know they're an old model so I couldn't find out to much about them on the internet. Both them and my antea skates feel similar in stiffness round the ankle, so I couldn't really determine it for my self either. Or if it's even a good idea to use 2nd hand skates. If any one can offer any advice and to which skates would be most suited to my ability then I'd be very grateful. Thank you :)

  id say go with ur gut and stick with what you already have. after all, u never kno what could happen when using second-hand skates!!
