How do I remove the Profile and Feeds sections from My Page?

How do I remove my location from my public profile page?

• I wanted to have a picture instead of the orange square with the exclamation point. I did it but changed it back. When I checked my public profile page, it showed the city I live in and my gender. I was able to click Private to hide my gender but there is no option for clicking Private to hide your location. Why can't I just have the photo and my username visible? I just spent an hour pulling my hair out trying everything I could. I know there must be some way of hiding your location as well as your gender because I've clicked on other people's profile page and it just shows the photo/picture they use as an avatar and their username, no gender, no location.

  You can try to do the following: - Log into your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com . - Mouseover (i.e. move your cursor over) the line that has downward-pointing, teardrop location marker and states your location. The background of areas get highlighted upon a mouseover, which indicates that you can make a change (at least via the Firefox browser). - Click on the line. Press backspace to delete the location. Click away from that area to save. - NOTE: The above can be done via the Edit settings (middle, person icon with pencil or http://profile.yahoo.com/y/edit/ ). Otherwise... - Click the gear icon to go to your settings. - Click on the pencil icon in the Account Info box. - Provide your password in the new tab or window. - Click "Update Your Contact Information" in the Contact Information section. - Delete your address information and click the yellow Save button at the bottom.
