  • Answer:

To work anywhere as a marine biologist you will need a PhD. That means science at school with lots of chemistry and maths. After that, university for a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in marine biology then a PhD with a thesis in marine biology. Let's say 7-8 years of study after you leave school. Then you'll have to find a job and competition is fierce for the few jobs available. Some marine biologists travel. Many never leave the laboratory. It depends on who you are working for and what you are doing.
