What is the best treatment for severe Tinnitus? (ringing of the ear?

Hmm tinnitus(ringing in the ear)......?

• Okay so im gonna give you a brief story of what happened,so you can relate to what im gonna say later on. I remembered one day,when i was playing football i was on defense, and that day i wasn't wearing a mouth guard or anything it was just among us friends who played, so this was just like you know a game for fun. So i was on defense and lol this is gonna sound funny, but i got tackled so hard that i blacked out for a few seconds lol.Anyways got up, went to go call the QB,realized i couldn't open my mouth anymore.When i tried to open it,it hurt so bad.So i was like ... this is not good. Anyways my stupid mind decided to forcefully open the mouth and never see a dentist,and play with your dislocated jaw bone.So i ate bone was cracking and all. Anyways lets skip now 5 years later.This past feb i developed a ringing in my ear,like out of nowhere completely.I was just in class all the sudden im like "th fudge is that?" I suffered from anxiety,so this gave me more anxiety lol. Anyways i couldn't take it,i couldn't sleep,went to see an ENT,within not even 5 minutes of examining me he saw the problem, TMD disorder? something like that. Now i knew i had TMJ,but i had no idea that i was making matters worst. Now the ENT said this is causing the sensitivity to sound and ringing im like wow this is not cool. He also told me to visit a dentist to get the right treatment. Sometimes i catch myself with my mouth opening side ways,i was up with my jaw sideways too.My jaw you can see my face and see the bottom jaw is pushed far back,i open my mouth the bottom jaw will come out a bit and when i come to close it it will like slip back, like far back. I knew the tinnitus couldn't have been from loud noise,cause i honestly rarely went to concerts movie theaters or anything like that.My hearing is fine,infact i hear too good that it bothers me. Now is there treatment for this? and if i do treat it will the tinnitus go away? alright thanks.
