  • Answer:

I'm in the UK and have an Evo 3D, so I'm not sure about the 4G (The UK version doesn't come with 4G, the UK only has 3G coverage) or network coverage in the US. But in low coverage areas here in the UK the phone works fine, it'll send texts/receive or make calls like usual. Call quality is great, and in areas with good reception it'll send texts pretty much instantly. The phone has a dual core 1.2GHz processor, so it does everything you ask it to pretty much instantly. Games such as Angry birds run super smooth. The 3D is a pretty cool feature to have. It definitely works, and it's good for drawing a crowd and showing off, lol. But the viewing angle for the 3D is kinda small though, you need to look at it straight on for the best effect. There's not much in the way of official 3D content, either, but Youtube has 3D videos and the phones in the UK (not sure about US versions) come with 3 3D games for free. Having two cameras at the back is also kinda neat, just makes it feel superior to everything. The phone will take 5MP photos in 2D and 2MP photos in 3D, taking both in 720p video. The dual flash on the rear of the phone is also incredibly bright, it'll light everything up for the camera perfectly, and can be used as a powerful flash light. The phone also comes with a front facing 1.3MP camera for video calls. It's a nice, heavy phone, too, with a solid, high quality feel. The touch screen is almost telepathic, the slightest touch is all you need, and I'm pretty sure the touch buttons at the bottom ARE telepathic. The battery is literally my only gripe with this phone. I use this phone all the time during my day, usually playing games like angry birds (which it plays super smooth) or browsing the web, and it requires a charge every night. By the time I'm done with the day and get home, it has bout 40% battery left. It simply won't last for 2 days without a charge with heavy use. The main thing that drains the battery is the screen, so I guess that if you didn't use it that much, it probably could last 2 or 3 days when just used for occasional texting or calling.
