What is a good and safe computer screen recording Program?

I want to get a free computer program to record my computer screen but all the ones I find I don't deem trust worthy... Anyone have any Ideas?

Computer screen? Just press CTRL + ALT + PRTSC and then paste it on a new photoshop or paint. Hope that helps because your question is not very specific to me. :D
