What was the first digital still camera that had a video mode?
-
I am just kind of curious, but what was the first digital still camera that had a mode for taking videos? what year did it come out? I am just curious...I have a digital camera from 2003 that takes crappy video, but I have heard that there are older cameras that take video without audio. I am just asking this out of curiosity.

I've traced it back to 2000 with the Sony DSC-S50. Your turn.

Check on Canon Rebel T2i. It has an 18 mega pixel sensor and takes great photos. It also has 1080 HD video, with a choice of frame rates. The video quality is superb, it looks great on my high definition TV.
