How can I break in skate shoes?

How come i cant skate with my new skate shoes?

• i cant skate as good with my new skate shoes than i would normally skate , why is that? do i need to break them in first and would shoe size matter because the shoes im using are like half a size bigger because i accidentally took those and now i cant return them

  I highly doubt it's the shoe size problem. Here's the real problem , You just got new shoes which means they have really good grip therefor your grip tape will really grip on to your shoe . You just need to wear them in , this is what i do . When i get new shoes i use them without skating for like about 2 weeks then i use them for skating , that way since they are all ready worn in i wont have any problems skating, and also i mean they are already 2 weeks old they would probably be dirty and really worn out by then so minus well finish them by skating , i hope this helped , and don't listen to that guy
