What is the best way to learn how to play the piano by ear ?

• I've always wanted to learn how to play accompaniment piano. Not classical, but in the black southern gospel way that I hear in church. I've tried different ways to learn, but none of them are sticking. If you know how to play, could you give me some pointers or ideas ? Thank you :)

  if you want to play by ear, you need to sing the notes to yourself or listen to the song. press a key that sounds like the note you're singing or listening to. & build up from there. it's so much fun learning new songs. you'll get better once you start.
