What activities can we do with our newborn baby?

Baby groups, swimming, walks, family visits, do something special for your wife spa day if you can't afford that then candle lit meal? Try to remember your wife as the mummy always gets forgotten once the baby is born. Most of all enjoy your family :)

It's really not a good idea to take a newborn out and about to places other than his/her doctor's appointments. Their immune systems are weak and need time to get strong, plus, you're just getting used to your little one so you don't know exactly which cries mean which thing. You want to be able to calm your baby down in public quickly...not spend an hour trying to figure it out. Also, there's really not much you can do with a newborn besides cuddle them. They sleep most of the time, and when they're not sleeping, they're eating or getting their diaper changed.

picnic always good. You may find that a baby and a restaurant don't mix unless it is nap time. all for fresh air and exercise but don't plan too much, your life is going to be rather different this summer. Remember how little sleep you'll be getting too.

you will be so tired from waking up every 3hours or less, you will only want to sleep when the baby sleeps. Those will be your activities for that period. Believe me, you won't have time or the energy to be bored.. congrats!!
