Is there any way to get FOX channels outside the US?

How can I get more T.V. channels?

  • here's the situation. they don't run cable down our road, and I don't want to pay for satellite. All I have right now is a digital T.V. and some rabbit ears from radio-shack. Is their at type of "mega-antenna" or some sort of "magic box thing" I can get that'll let me have more channels? because watching NBC ABC CBS FOX and PBS is getting really boring..... my friend lives next to me and has satellite- Is their some way I can tap into it and split the bill? any method would be helpful.....

    There is no "mega-antenna" or some sort of "magic box thing" than can conjure up TV channels that are not being broadcast within range of your antenna. You are actually quite lucky to be able to get as many channels as you do with an indoor antenna. "Splitting" with your neighbor won't work. There is no satellite TV without a receiver. Netflix at $7.99/ month is something to consider, but you've exhausted all your options aside from getting DirecTV or Dish.

You can get FTA satellite. The channels it has may or may not be what yo want though. If you want pay satellite TV in any form, you need to get your own subscription. Splitting an account would be a violation of the provider's TOS, and probably copyright law.

You could try a better antenna. An outside antenna would out perform rabbit ears. I'd also suggest a Roku box and a Netflix subscription. That will give you tons of cheap content at only $7.99 per month.
