How do I know if I got bed bugs?

  • I work at a hotel and someone said there were bed bugs and I went to check the room and was in there for 5 to 10 minutes and saw nothing. There was no bugs on the matriarch or on the wood. Could I get bed bugs for being in the room for 10 minutes. I'm really itchy, but think its from thinking about bugs. Please help

    Look at the mattress seams. They hide out there. Look for little black speckles, that is the bed bug's feces. 80% of the time they are in the seams. Even the seams of the bed spread. They aren't necessarily going to be out in the open on the sheets.
