How to cancel an order on eBay?

  • I accidentally clicked but it now. And it's in my purchase history but I didn't pay for that item yet Do I have to contact the owner to cancel my order even though it's not paid for yet?

You don't accidentally click "buy it now" because it asks you to confirm to commit to buy.

you must contact the seller, retract bid. explain and it must be good reason. ebay may mark a strike on you if the seller complains. just remember its a bindign contract and he/she can refuse if there is no returns. i have retracted before however it was not buy it now and was a auction where it was high and the seller was able to offer the item to last bidder before me. i was warned by ebay if i did it again in future i would get a strike against my account. i was given a slap on the hand warning but got away.

Yes you need to apoligise to the owner and explain.. it should be fine though.. ive done it.
