How to get over my fear of bugs?

  • I have a really bad fear of bugs. They terrify me. Anything that flys or crawls. The sound they make, how they look, the thought of being stung. It's just terrifying. And it's all bugs too, not just bees and spiders. It's like bees wasps spiders butterflyes ants everything. Even hummingbirds if they get to close. I don't know how y fear was started, I've never been stung and I'm not allergic. How can I get over this fear? Btw, I'm 13

being afraid of bugs isnt like a serious mental issue or anything, you just have to know that bugs are living things too, and they wont hurt you unless you hurt them. sure, they are creepy if they crawl on you or something, but they arent going to say, "HEY LOOK A PERSON! LETS HURT THEM AND SCARE THEM PURPOSELY!" i dont think bugs think like that. just stay away from their nests, and dont try to hurt them and they might try to or suceed in attacking back. and dont try to listen to their sound, just think, bugs probably think your noises are scary, too. your huge! you probably make huge, booming noises from their ears! your huge and terrifying! you think you are afraid of them? imagine how terrified they are of you!
