How to make battery life in ipod last longer?

  • In a few weeks our class are going to the Isle of Wight for a week long trip. We're allowed to take our iPods, PSPs, and Cameras, and I'm planning to take my camera and iPod. My camera is really bad so I plan to just take photos with it, but with my iPod I'm going to take pictures and videos, and I will be listening to music, and playing on a few apps when we have spare time (which we're allowed, don't worry xD) I can't bring my laptop and my charger to charge my iPod with, we'll be on a coach and boat- so no car chargers. I need to make the iPod last the whole week because I want to keep the memories of the trip. Any tips? :) thanks xoxoxo

    well,lower the screen's brightness,turn off wi-fi when you dont needit,turn off bluetooth when you dont need it,close opened apps from the multi task menu when you're not using them,also it's better if your ipod isnt jailbroken....oo and lower the autolock time

you can turn the brightness down all the way && apple suggest keeping the volume low oh and also don't play the games that makes the battery die quicker

Generally, batteries need to be recharged once it goes dead flat or close to getting.

There is nothing you can do for the battery to last a whole week, impossible. The most you can get out of the battery after the maintenance is about 20%. To maintain the battery in good condition charge the battery 100%, use the iPod until it shut off by it self for lack of battery juice, charge the battery again to 100% (Do not use the iPod while charging this time). Once it's charge, unplug and use. I do have one suggestion, get a solar charger.

The battery wont last if you are doing all those things on it. The best to do is not play apps, go on things that waste the battery, and also do not put it all on brightness. The best thing is for you to just try and take pictures and videos. The battery will die out eventually before the week is over.
