Is it safe to go to Lebanon at Christmas?

Is Lebanon safe for travel now? Or safe for an American to go to school?

    yes it is safe, I know a lot of single girls living alone in Beirut. you just need to get used to everything and then you should be fine. As for the tickets I don't the MEA have flights directly from the US to Lebanon ( you'll have to spend few hours somewhere in Europe usually London or Paris ) but again depends on the Airlines , to be honest with you, there would be no cheap flights but you might find some cheaper than others, I'll recommend you check with a local agency ( sometimes they have the best offers) and also check online on cheapflights.com or tripadvisor or such websites.

It's safe but you should get to know the right kind of people and find someone who you could call if you ever need anything , if you want to get a plane ticket it depends on which country you're from try MEA ( middle east airlines) and see which flight is best for you i'm not sure about the prices tho.

Yea lebanon is safe If you are a woman coming alone, I would recommend that you live in the university dorm for a while, till u get to know the right people and make some friends and get to know the city and all Then you could move out and rent a place if you want. AUB american university of beirut is the top english university in lebanon. Good luck!

Yes they are. I recomend to stay in the capital city of beirut. It is very beatiful and has a great nightlife. Aswell as the american schools. AUB.
