Why doesn't a Nissan truck run smooth in overdrive?

Truck tire doesnt want to run/go.?

  • Its a ford explorer 08 advance trac, was recently fixed. I drove it a while ago and one of tires seems to lock up. Like it doesnt want to run, so its like a sudden stop to the truck. I accelerate it but it doesnt speed up it just roarss. Most i can go is just 10 15 miles max and with the sudden stops going on and off. Its the front left tire doing that. What could it be

  • Answer:

It is a stuck brake caliper on that wheel Change the caliper and pads and bleed the brakes your problem should be solved, by the way don't drive the vehicle like this, it is unsafe, and you could do engine/transmission damage by forcing it to work extra hard to move the vehicle.

Sounds like the brake won't release. If you don't know how to repair it, take it in immediately. If you're afraid of being ripped off, and don't know any mechanics, try Firestone or Goodyear or any of the national chains.
