Where in Wurzburg, Germany can I watch a Laker game (basketball?

Did the referees pull a david stern (give the game to the lakers) last night during the lakers game?

  • listen, im no laker hater. im completely indifferent of them. but i cannot stand how nba games are officiated because the refs too often have too much of an impact on how games are decided when they should be decided by the players. usually playoff games are allowed to be a little more physical but not last night. there were several bs calls on derick fisher and james harden, the tech on perkins over a foul on him that shouldve been a non call, and the techs that didnt get called on artest for his knee & kobe for his whining in the refs face. "Bryant shot 18 free throws and made them all, leading a Laker free throw parade of 41 makes in 42 tries. It was a playoff free throw performance surpassed only by the Dallas Mavericks' 49 makes in 50 tries on May 19, 2003, in San Antonio. Six of the Lakers' last eight points came from the line as they erased a five-point deficit in the final three minutes." the thunder also had 28 free throw attempts. not sure about anyone else but i dont spend 3 hours of my time to watch a free throw contest or to watch the refs. i want to see basketball played & decided by the players.

Read Blowing the Whistle by Tim Donaghy. He's the ex-referee who got jailed for betting on games. He tells the whole story of how he was able to bet on teams even when he didn't ref, against the odds just because of the back story of who was playing/reffing. He tells how the NBA refs are told by the NBA front office to watch out for certain calls before games when these calls are specific addressing one thing that only one of the teams is doing. This is a non-direct way for the NBA to extend series.

same thing happened in 2010 then. If you happened to catch the Lakers vs, Thunder series. The Lakers ended up winning in 6 but one of those games i sh*t you not the Thunder had like 50+ points just off of free throws alone, and the Lakers had like 12 or something like that. im not sure if it was '09 or '10 but i know it was one of those. pretty sure it was in '10 when they ended up beating Boston in 7

Yes go ask the 2002 kings and others

I asked the same question when i was Watching the game. The tech on Westbrook was uncalled for, the shooting fouls on harden and perkins were DEFINATLY uncalled for. They barely made contact on the ball or the shooter. They still called the foul even though the shot went it. Overall in my opinion i think he refs wanted the lakers win.
