Mate, please don't go for Mechatronics. It is a combination of Mechanical and Electronics, currently the syllabus is not competitive and end of your studies you would not master in both Mechanical and Electronics.

Mechatronics,is a subset of mech.engg..u will even find an advance in the intro of new streams,that are dealt little in mech.but,the portion is too hard.coming out with a good grade will place u in top companies.
