Where do I take the civil service exam?

Is it possible for Filipino/Japanese citizens to take the Philippine Civil Service Exam?

  • I'm currently 20 and I'm aware that I should choose a citizenship soon. I'd choose being a Japanese for various reasons but I'm afraid that taking the exams now (wherein I believe I'm still qualified for the CSE) would make me lose my preferred citizenship. So would it endanger my chances of being a Japanese if I take this exam? P.S. I currently have a Legal Management Bachelor's Degree so I'm pretty screwed up if I don't work for a government since I just graduated this year.

  • Answer:

Please note that to be eligible for appointment in Civil Service, a person should be a citizen of the Philippines. If you desire to choose being a Japanese , then you are not entitled to take the Philippine Civil Service Examinations.
