Why would you fake wearing your seat belt?

  • I was watching television just now and it said "next time you fake wearing your seat belt think again. The cops don't give out fake tickets." Why fake wearing your seat belt if you're going to go as far as faking wearing your seat belt you might as well just put it on right???

    Because of any of the following crazy reasons. 1.Seat belts wrinkle my clothes 2.I don’t need to, I have airbags 3.It’s uncomfortable 4.I’ve heard of people trapped in a burning car who couldn’t unfasten their belt 5.My parents never wore them 6.There’s dust on them that gets on my clothes 7.I don’t believe there should be a law requiring me to wear them 8.I’m a good driver 9.Stupidity.

Some people are just too lazy, so they sling it over their shoulder thinking the cops wont know it's unbuckled. I'm not going to get into the arguments about how it's not the nanny Government's place to require seat belt use, but that is my belief....

been there, done that.

Bc they want to feel like they'r outsmarting the Man. My dad did that and got a serious brain injury in a fender bender that he regreted every day of the rest of his compromised life. I had to take care of him so I regreted it too. Then my brother put him in a nursing home and that was regretable. He caught pneumonia and died w/in thirty days and that was prob a blessing considering his condition.
