What's a good Pokemon Leaf Green Team?

Whats your opinion on this pokemon heart gold team dilemma?

  • are you the type that uses the starter for every single battle meaning by the end of the first 8 gyms its 50+ or are you the type that makes an even team of 3 or more, ive chosen to make atleast 3 pokemon the same level but now im having some doubt in how far it will get me, whats your suggestion, what did you do, for your information i just beat bugsy (2nd gym leader) my team is level 20 quilava. level 18 pidgeotto and level 19 onix ('ROCKY' who the f.. would name it rocky) ive been trying to keep them level. whats your say on this? should i just train my quilava non stop or continue with these 3 awesome pokemon?

  • Answer:

You need all six pokemon and a balance team. Fire, water, grass, electric, ground, and type six is up to you.

I always raise a full team. I also make sure all the levels of the members of said team are even. And I always make sure that they are higher than the gym leader I face by 3. This is also the seemingly most time consuming methods as I will spend a good 15 hours of playtime just level grinding. This is excluding trainer battles you do regularly.

i would try to make a team of six because what about if you fight a water type or rock type you need to have a balance team so your ready for anything

Antonio

do both ,by sectioning off three quarters of your game time a day on heart gold for training
