How do mushrooms breathe?

Do you know how do mushrooms breathe?

  • Answer:

Mushrooms don't "breathe". Breathing is pumping air in and out of the body. Mushrooms do cell respiration, just like we do, but the oxygen simply diffuses into the mushroom and the carbon dioxide diffuses out. There is no "breathing".

Mushrooms don't breathe. We know they require oxygen because they can't live without it, but in order to breathe, you need lungs.
