Is it wrong not to use deodorant?

Is it rather normal to use deodorant near vaginal area? Do you do this also?

• Hi guys, so after I get out the shower I like to swab scented deodorant under my underarms like most people :) ... but then I take my Dove Unscented deodorant (only use for vaginal area) to swab, I swab it in the outer area of the lips of my vagina..(I never put deodorant in the inner part of my vagina area).. I started doing this because few years back I noticed when hot or exercising i sweat "down there" and for a lasting fresh scent the deodorant works perfectly.. So is this normal or maybe normal isn't the question does anyone think/know if this is safe to do? Does anyone else uses this method as well? :) Thanks for answering

  I would not recommend it as all of us females have our Ph balance and it could get out of whack then you'll get a bacterial infection like BV.It is just good enough to clean only the outer area while showering but the inner part cleans itself.We all have good and bad bacteria down below.But everyone has their own opinions on this but mine is don't use any scented soaps,parfumes,deodorants,douching etc.. down there at all.Take care =)
