How can I tell the age of my cockatiel?

Can you tell how old a cockatiel is?

• I bought a lutino cockatiel ( yellow head white body red patch on the cheek) to keep my white face lutino cockatiel company. Is it possible to tell the age of the bird? The guy I bOught it off said it was 9weeks old. My white face lutino is about the same age as the new bird but it lOoks way much smaller and less feathers. It looks like the new bird already had its first molt. It has no markings under its wings and tails. Is there any way for me to determin if it had its first molt yet or around how old it wOuld be? Thanks :)

  take them both to the vet and the vet will tell you both of their ages =)
