Are LG home theater speakers interchangeable?

How to make sound come out from my Home Theater Speakers?

  • I got a LG Home Theater Speaker (HT902TB) So far all the separate speakers are set up, and if I put the TV on Input 2, the Home Theater came with a DVD-USB-Image Player, so that pops up. My problem is, the sound works perfectly on the dvd player, but my Cable TV's sound only comes from the TV itself. Help! If you need any photos/thing like that, tell me and I will add it.

  • Answer:

To get sound from your TV requires that you connect the audio output of your TV to your home theater. Fortunately for you, yours has both analog and digital audio inputs. Most home theater units do not and thus make them useless in this regard. So take a look at your TV audio output and see which you have. Buy the proper cable and hook the two up together. You may have make a selection in your TV menu in order to get "external sound" to work. ps. thank you for listing the model number of your system. It would have been impossible to give you this advice without it.
