Question about motherboard CPU socket pin(s)...?
-
Is it possible for someone to accidentally push a motherboards CPU socket pin further into the motherboard? For example, I've heard of bent pins and broken pins. But i'm talking about further SINKING a pin (accidentally of course) into the motherboard. The motherboard in question is the Asus P8Z77-V.

Answer:
Okay if that happens... than more than likely... the CPU doesn't fit the motherboard... the CPU should fall in, their should ABSOLUTELY BE NO FORCE to get the CPU in.
