    Well, I've only ever used eBuddy and Messenger WithYou and find the latter to be better:D

Whatsapp all the way. Imsg is good as there isnt a user input needed. Just makes texting more interactive

BBM is only for Blackberry. Whatsapp should be better because you can send messages to other devices. I prefer Brosix. It works on Android, iPhone, Windows, Linux and Mac. It has a web version for the other platforms.

BBM is pretty good but only works if you and your friends have blackberry's, if that's not the case then i'd have to say Whatsapp as this works for blackberry and iPhone (also think it works for android too) so it gives a wider range of people you can talk to

Google Talk hands down. Works for Computer and phone. Clean, effective, free I like how I can be talking on the computer, then I can get up and it will be synced on my phone too. Also it has video and other features.

BBM is just for blackberrys and the best by far. I have a blackberry but i also have whatsapp bcos i can im and send pictures to ppl with i phones x
