What is a cheap city to live in in pennsylvania?

Which Pennsylvania City should I Live In?

  • I have a steady job and currently live in Harrisburg. There is a job opening in Pittsburgh, same pay, but with a longer commute. They offered me the job and I need help deciding. Pittsburgh would be closer to family, and i'm getting married in October of this year. For sake of simplicity, lets leave my fiance's work situation out of it. She's pretty flexible in that aspect anyway.... So, pittsburg, closer to family, longer commute.... Or Harrisburg, sort of isolated from family for us, but shorter commute, money is equal in both areas... sorta looking for Pennsylvanians or others who are familiar with this sort of thing, or even those who've struggled with proximity to family issues and or commutes... that's basically what i need to get opinions on... do you think a 40 minute commute, when my current commute is 5 minutes, is worth it to be closer to family when we finally have kids after getting married... i need some sort of help, been banging my head against the wall on this for a while now, thanks...

STAY where You Are. The Cost of Gas is ONLY going to go Up- over Time. And the MORE it Does, the Bigger the "Impact" it's gonna Have- on Your Decision.
