How hard is it to get a job in commercial diving once you complete your ADAS PART 1 & 2 TRAINING?

• im 28 and a fitter & machinist im thinking about going in to commercial diving my goal would be to work on a oil rig in a few yrs but i need to know how hard it would be to get a good job when finished training i work as a underground fitter at the moment so i get good pay. so how much do you start off on when you finish part 1 & 2 a yr and when you finsh part 3 how much would that be a yr if i was to get job on a rig i live in Australia

  There are a number of oil service companies doing most of the drilling world wide such as FMC Tech., Halliburton,Hess,McDermott Intl., Oceaneering Intl.,Petrobras, Repsol YPF, Slumberger You would probably be wise to contact the companies that use qualified divers and see what their requirements are. What locations would they use divers around the world. As well as what the pay scale is and is there a growing demand for that trade.
