How can I enter into the IT field after 30?

I.T security jobs; possible to enter the field without BSc /MSc in a computer related field?

  • Is it possible to work within the field of I.T security if you get the appropriate certificates but had a BSc and Msc in a subject that was not I.T related? I have a BSc and MSc in Applied Psychology, but was hoping to learn about I.T security, and take the certificates required to demonstrate my abilities within the field to gain employment. Is this possible without having a formal degree in Computer Science? Thanks in Advance!
