What are some neat careers in journalism?

Journalism careers in new york?

  • well i currently live in the uk and after i've been to college i.e. a levels, i want to move to new york (or maybe london, mostly new york i think at the moment) where would i be able to study journalism or entertainment journalism in new york, and live obviously, would i go to uni or just study journalism. i want to maybe be someone on tv journalism or writing i'm not sure yet, what could i do in new york and how could i do this?

  • Answer:

Seriously, McDonald's is not hiring anymore unemployable journalism majors. Find another field of interest that actually produces something useful, like basket weaving.

Ivy League's Columbia University New York University CUNY City University of NY on 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue Columbia and NYU have dorms yet it's about $55,000 a year, CUNY has no dorms but it's about $15,000 a year if you are a NYC resident for at least, I think, six months. Unless you have money I would say it's best to stay in London. Plenty of fine schools there. To live in NYC is costly.
