How do I monitor my use of my time?

How do I setup my PC to use my normal speakers and my monitor speakers at the same time?

• I have a set of normal speakers that go in the green audio jack. I also have speakers on my HDMI monitor actually its just a smaller sized flat screen lcd but I use it as a monitor. When I plug in the normal speakers it makes the ones on my monitor turn off. They both work on their own and I can have them plugged in at the same time... there has to be a way to make them both work at the same time right? Does anyone know how? Is there a setting somewhere in windows? The speakers use realtek audio driver and the little orange speaker symbol that pops up in the area where the time is shown if that matters.

  If your using and HDMI cable, you will not be able to use speakers and TV speakers at the same time. What the HDMI cable does is it takes your whole computer setting and set as if your TV was you computer so now technically your computer is useless. But i think that if you have a desktop there are 2 audio jacks in it. One green one in the back and possibly one normal one on the front. If you plug your speakers either in the headset or the green jack you will be able to use them both at the same time. Hope this has helped you. SiCK
