What was your Senior year like?

Americans-What is your senior year like?

  • Do you have a lot of stress, and massive tests? In Australia we have the HSC and everybody spends hours each day for weeks leading up to it! What's the senior year like at US high schools?

  • Answer:

Personally for me I never studied, from middle school (6th grade) all the way up to 12th and always got high test grades. And for 12th grade I went to an alternative education school which didn't even have finals. Don't waste your time studying

Well in greece there is what is calles "Panelladikes" which pretty much in panhellenic examinations with 6 to 9 subjects ( depends in your field of choise ) . Everything is SUPER hard . You must start preparing 3 years before the examinations and in the senior year you go to school for 8 hours , then in what is called frodistirio , which pretty much is more and harder exercises and preparation for the examination and then read . I have a family member that reads for 19 sometimes 20 hours a day and hasn't had a night out for 4 months, It is super hard mathematics and physics . Some of these things are taught in amercian universities in the second year and the exams last for 2 weeks . Kids are fainting and throwing before the exams take place , they do not sleep etc. So at least in Greece it is - I think one of the most difficult examinations in the world . In the senior year it is just reading , reading and stress . No life .
