Why do girls say they feel safe in us guys arms?

Not all women are like that. strong intelligent women don't need that to feel safe, they feel safe when they do the right thing and they make the right decission. of course they take care of themselves, too. those girls you said are not good examples of women. no offense to anyone. I am not a woman but i have a possible answer.jehovah god made man to stick to one wife and they were to become one flesh(genesis 2:24)man was never to have multiple partners just one whom they would become very close.but because of their sin in the garden of eden they were given certain adjustment they would now have to follow since they would no longer be perfect.(eve) the first woman would now set the pattern for all woman ro follow her.so that being the case,man who would not look to each other to feel safe because they lived in a perfect world now lived in a world were they no longer had gods perfect protection.they had no since of danger.but now they would.in (gen 3:16)jehovah tells the first woman eve that her "craving would be for her husband and he would dominate you".so you see a since of security would come from man for woman.a woman craves her man and his arms provide a metaphoric shelter.your girlfriend when your not around craves you,your attention your arms your love.and thats why when we break up with eachother both man and woman cant stand to see our ex with anyone else.because gods word says our mind is made to look at our mates as ours only.never wanting to share or ever having too.if you ever want answers to lifes basic questions look in the bible and if you have any trouble understanding them contact jehovahs witnesses.hope this helped.bye.

It's not just young girls who say that, even us middle aged women who used to be so independent before we got married and had children. We all need the odd hug and cuddle from those strong armed men in our lives. We can just about function without constant hugs, but it feels so lovely to have those muscly arms around us, when we need it most.
