How do you become an art teacher in the UK?

How do I become an art teacher in Rhode Island and or Massachusetts?

I love art and since having been a student (assistant) art teacher for high school students, I would really like to become an art teacher for that age group. I just really don't know what to do and how to get there. does anyone know to become an art teacher and obtain a position in RI or MA? I have been looking into colleges but I am so confused and lost I have no idea what I am looking for!
